Arts Advocacy Day in District 1

Please join Arkansas for the Arts on Sunday, October 6 for Arts Advocacy Day in District 1. The afternoon’s events will take place from noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Walton Arts Center, 495 Dickson Street, Fayetteville Arkansas. Arkansans for the Arts will talk about arts education, the creative economy, and arts advocacy across Arkansas. Presentations begin at noon. At 2:00 p.m. District 1 Arkansas Legislative Arts Caucus members will join in for a town hall meeting where attendees can share their “Big Ideas” with the policy makers that can make change happen. This is a great opportunity to network, learn how you can advocate in your community, and have some face time with state legislators. Arkansas for the Arts membership information will be available. The event is free and light refreshments will be provided. www.ArkansansForTheArts.org
